If you grew up in the 80’s as I did, and are a fan of the movies and music of that era, then you owe it to yourself to check out this podcast! Fun and informative; it’s a great listen. Each segment compares similar movies and music of one the greatest eras for either. I’ve always been a fan actor’s and musicians autobiographies on audio, but this is definitely more enjoyable. I commute 30 minutes to and from work each day and this podcast makes me look forward to it!

This is such a fun show that reminds me of the friendly debates my friends and I used to have in high school! The hosts are very upbeat, informed, and their enthusiasm for the music/movies is infectious. It's also one of the few podcasts I can listen to with kids in the car and not worry about profanity. Keep up the great work and I can't wait for the next episode!

One of the most flat-out enjoyable podcasts I have stumbled across. Two convivial hosts and lots of fun trivia on the pop culture icons that made the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s make this one of my go-to podcasts.

A lot of podcasts try. This podcast is effortless. You can tell the difference. Well researched.

The Superman vs the man of steel argument was interesting! I do admit I love the original but now you make me want to watch man of steel again. But Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder is everything to me. But now you guys definitely inspired me to rewatch. These guys bring great arguments from both sides. Definitely can’t wait to dive deeper

These guys are great! I love the comparisson aspect and they do a great job of giving you some great info about what they are talking about. They are really well researched! Definitely give them a listen if you are a fan on the 80s and 90s!

Each episode we get treated to some of the age-old great debates: Thriller vs Bad, Airplane! vs Spaceballs, Van Halen vs Van Hagar... the possibilities are endless and so is the joy of listening to two hosts who clearly love what they’re talking about. Here’s to many more matchups to come!

If you’re a child of the ‘80s, and you’re NOT listening to this pod, I have one thing to say to you...”Surely you cant be serious!!!”This is nostalgia at its finest. I don’t always drink beer, but when I do, I drink it while listening to this podcast. I fancy myself a trivia buff, and I can legit say that I learn something new from each and every episode!Keep ‘me coming!

My boy Jason and his pal Dee kill it with this great retro podcast focusing on music, movies and pop culture from the 80s. A great listen on the work commute!

I love podcasts. I listen to everything from motivational to sports. This one I would describe as pop culture. The guys provide good information while not taking themselves too serious (hence the title!). They travel down all kinds of wormholes just like you do when having discussions with your friends. The episodes aren’t too long so you can usually listen to a full show without having to stop then pick it up again. I can’t wait to hear what they have in store!

Started off with their Thriller episode and really enjoyed hearing the hosts provide fun facts and entertaining chats about all things music. I learned that Thriller was originally to be called Starlight which is pretty cool. Look forward to checking out more. Subscribe and listen now!

Two guys, one mic, and a fountain of 80s-90s knowledge which they use to debate the issues that most Americans wonder about. Which movie, album, etc from the 80s and 90s was better. I don’t necessarily agree with either of them all of the time but they give you a lot to think about. If you are a child of the 80s or 90s or just a fan of the 2 greatest decades of the last millennium, then this podcast is for you.And I am serious... but don’t call me Shirley... well... maybe just this once...

These guys start breaking down 80s music and movies and I’m instantly taken back to a wonderful time in my life. Full of fun debate and laughs! Highly recommended !!!

This show is a blast! The guys come up with topics that force the listener to take a side and want to jump in to the battle royale. The first two episodes were so much fun. They really took me back. Can’t wait for the next one!
